Director
Mia Hull began En Croix Ballet when she was just 17 yrs old. A home school student herself, she saw the need for affordable daytime dance classes; thus En Croix began with just 15 students. It has expanded into daytime and evening classes and multiple days per week. Offering classes in Ballet, Pointe, Modern, and Hip Hop. Now in it's 23rd year of operation we saw nearly 100 performers on stage in "Alora" in 2023.
Mrs. Hull is also a choreographer for church events, musicals, high schools, and individuals for weddings and competitions. |
Faculty
En Croix Ballet has the vision to foster love of dance and help young people learn not only to be the best they can be as a dancer, but also as a person and even their future. We hope to give the opportunity to grow and learn more about themselves and the dance world by promoting from within the studio. Our dancers may be asked to be teachers or assistants and learn under our guidance to teach and assist for En Croix Ballet. Much of our faculty, and all assistants, are current and former students of our studio. Others have returned to be our stage manager, assistant stage manager, costume assistants, and tech crew.
This internship is overseen by Mia Hull and gives dancers the incredible opportunity to learn on the job. Our student teachers go on to teach in other studios and also remain with En Croix Ballet after graduation if their goal is to continue to teach.
Below is our Ballet VI level dancers. These dancers work in conjunction with the teachers and staff to help create our full-length ballet each year. This is an incredible undertaking as these dancers are challenged to weave the entire show together in classes just 5 hours per week!
